None other than the fabulous Miss Betsy Belle. She came into this world on March 11 – a whole ten weeks early. Cheeky thing caused quite the commotion. She is most definitely destined for a life in the limelight. Let’s just say life has taken a dramatic turn.
So while we continue to share stories on lovely things, you may also get the odd insight into a house full of girls and my disastrous attempts to become a domestic goddess. And may I add, there is nothing more gorgeous than seeing your baby survive against the odds. She is our little beauty!

I believe I had my first crush…oh…about five years ago. I was standing on the top floor in Urban Outfitters on Oxford Street, London. It was love at first sight. I remember my heart thumping through my chest and then I touched it…. soft beautiful leather, vibrant colours. I’d only gone and fallen for an Angel Jackson bag.

On the hunt for vintage-loving ladies for a Sunday supplement feature, I was lucky enough to meet the very kooky Becky Hoh-Hale. While planning her own 40s-inspired wedding, she ended up with a distinctly exquisite collection of vintage tea cups, chintzy china jugs, cake stands, Victorian candlesticks… oh and let’s not forget the working gramophone! As her house cluttered up with couture crockery, she had her light bulb moment. Becky realised she could help other tea party dreamers.

A few years ago we were very unlucky. Cowboy builders mean anything to you? They certainly do us! They swooped into our little home and turned it upside down. A lot of pennies later we’re now fixing all their wicked works. My top tip… don’t cut corners. Do your research!
On a more uplifting note, our house now resembles a home. It’s cosy and little feet are finally safe from wandering nails and dodgy wires. It also means there are few interiors boutiques I’ve yet to rummage through. At last I can hunt for beautiful things. Hang wonderful treasures, pictures and prints…
